A FEW TIPS :
- Tobacco withdrawal is highly recommended 6 to 8 weeks before and 3 months after the surgery. Smoking increases the risk of infectious and scarring complications by SIX times and slows down bone healing. The risk of non-union (failure of bone healing) is multiplied by THREE. During your hospitalization, you will not be able to smoke freely, feel free to ask me for a prescription for nicotine patches if you deem it necessary.
- I am available to answer any questions that may not have been addressed during our discussion leading up to the surgery.
- You can find many information sheets on this website in the “Medical Information” section of the homepage and in the “Online Resources” section.
- In case of cancellation or rescheduling on your part, please notify us as soon as possible. This will prevent us from losing the time slot reserved for you in the operating room and incurring delivery costs for the equipment planned for your surgery.
To cancel or for any other information, you can contact the secretary by phone at 06 25 50 50 00 or send us an email at secretariatdrissa@gmail.com.
